Denise Marie Wilson, age 38, of Highlandville, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012, in her home. She was born June 3, 1973 in Long Island, New York, the daughter of Roberta (Smith) Mittenhuber and Jim Mittenhuber. In 1997 she and Chad Wilson were married. This union brought three boys, Michael James, Dakota John, and Nicholas Joseph Wilson. Denise also helped to raise a nephew, Christopher James Stockdale. Before her disability, Denise was a CNA. She most recently worked for Ozark Riverview Manor. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim, and two sisters, Donna and Darlene. Survivors include: Her mother, Roberta, Springfield; her three sons, Michael, age 13, Dakota, age 11, and Nicholas, age 6; a nephew, Chris; a sister, Diane Stockdale, brothers, Michael and wife Lori, Florida, and Jimmy and wife, Kathy, New Jersey. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Randy Milnes officiating. Burial will follow in Ponce De Leon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Tuesday until service time.
