William Rex “Bid” Garrison, age 80 of Forsyth, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 in his home. He was born January 23, 1932 in Galloway, the son of Todd and Evalee (Liles) Garrison. In 1952 he married Helen Altic. Mr. Garrison enjoyed hunting, fishing, sitting outside on the farm and spending time with his grandkids. Survivors include: four children, Sherry Smith and husband Steve, William R. Garrison, Jr. and wife Mary, Donnie G. Garrison and wife Sandra and Beatta Garrison and Felix Clark; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his nine brothers and sisters and a granddaughter. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Thursday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
