Earl Hiram Renfro, age 86, of Nixa, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 in Christian Health Care, Nixa. He was born July 19, 1926, in Tillamook, Oregon, the son of Charles and Lidia (Henderson) Renfro. He was a graduate of Nixa High School. On November 15, 1952, he and Louise Messenger were united in marriage. Mr. Renfro was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ, Nixa. He read his bible daily. Mr. Renfro enjoyed baseball and all sports, and John Wayne western movies. Survivors include: his two daughters, Carolyn Harris and husband Darrell, Galena and Teresa Peine and husband Greg, Nixa; her son, Kelly Renfro and wife Karen, Springfield; eight grandchildren, April, Pam, Mark, Amber, Heather, Hailey, and Cole; five great grandchildren, Darryl, Charlie, Zachary, Gerald, and Audrey; nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise on November 9, 2010, his parents, and three brothers, Lloyd, Curt, and Bob. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 20, at Union Hill Church of Christ, Nixa, with Steve Martin officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
