Amanda Brooke Metzker

Amanda "Peaches" Brooke Metzker, age 31, of Nixa passed away in her home Saturday, September 12, 2015. She was born November 17, 1983 at St. Johns Hospital, Springfield to Rick and Kristy (Curtman) Reynolds. Mandy attended Nixa Schools from pre-school until she graduated from Nixa High School in 2002, with honors. Mandy was an avid dancer and danced in competitions all across the country. She was a cheerleader and in choir. She loved music and to dance and sing. The loves of her life were her boys, Nick and Seth, and her dogs Khloe and Roscoe. She was a wonderful mother and nurturer. Mandy loved to travel with family and friends. Mandy made countless friends across the country. Mandy never knew a stranger and people loved being around her. Mandy loved photography, taking pictures of family, places she had been and pets. Mandy loved the holidays and family traditions. Mandy is survived by her mother, husband Jeremy; her sons Nicholas and Seth Metzker; her siblings Marisa Wren, husband Chris, of Ankeny, IA, Scott Reynolds, wife Michalle, of Nixa, Mark Reynolds, wife Nikki, of Nixa; Aunts Vicky Hendricks, of Nixa, and Julie Curtman, of Battlefield; and an uncle Jeff Curtman, of Springfield David Curtman, of Springfield; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mandy is preceded in death by her father Rick (Bear) Reynolds. Funeral services for Mandy will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield.
