Austin Clark

April 30, 1998 — June 13, 2016

Austin Thomas Clark, age 18, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016. He was born April 30, 1998 in Springfield to Brett and Heidi Clark. Austin's passion was theater. He loved to act, put on skits, and make people laugh. When he was younger, he was always known as the class clown because of his amazing humor and goofy smile. He took acting classes at Springfield Little Theater, and did improv on Friday nights for a small coffee shop located in Ozark. Austin planned to go to the Chicago School of Acting once he had graduated, to further his career in acting. He also started playing Mighty Mites around age 5 up until his freshman year of high school, when he got into Speech & Debate and acting. He won many awards for everything he did. Austin also had a huge love for card tricks. He was amazing at them and most of the time you could find a stack of cards in his pocket, just waiting to show someone his latest trick. Austin had an amazing imagination, he was kind hearted, and he always knew how to make people laugh or put a smile on their face. You could always find him laughing with one of his friends or helping them through a hard situation. Austin was such a kind hearted boy, who loved the Lord and the people around him. Austin will be greatly missed for he was taken from us too soon.
