Betty Jean Crocker-Norman

Betty Crocker-Norman, age 87, of Nixa passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015. She was born August 5, 1928 to Howard and Helen (Sawyer) Vincent, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was raised in Grand Rapids. Betty was united in marriage to Charles Norman April 17, 1992. Betty worked at a company which made circuit boards for jet aircraft. Betty was very good at working on very small items which required a magnifying glass. She could paint very small detailed characters on fingernails. Betty was very creative and artistic. She enjoyed shopping for clothes, jewelry, and furs and loved flowers and butterflies. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Betty is survived by her husband Charles; children Vicky Stevens, of Nixa, and Larry Stevens, of Denver, Colorado; a sister Dorothy Howerda, Grand Rapids, Michigan; and grandchildren Craig Ziuraitis, of Branson, and Robert Ziuraitis, of Cedar Springs, Michigan. Betty is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015, in Fremont Hills Baptist Church, Fremont Hills. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., prior to the funeral service.
