Brent Lane Martin

On Saturday, August 13, 2016, Brent Lane Martin passed away at home, of natural causes. Brent 61 years old was born in Springfield, Missouri, at Burge Hospital on September 26, 1954, the fifth child of six. Gone before him are his parents Etolua and Elwood Martin, an infant sister Teresa, brothers William (Bill), and Jeffrey (Jeff). Brent is survived by his four children, Kirsten of Texas, Jason of Springfield, Johnny and Stephen of Iowa, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and another due September 8, 2016, brother Richard Larry Martin of Springfield, sister Cynthia Martin Baldwin (Norman) of Springfield, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Building dune buggies was Brent's favorite pastime. He always seemed to have one under construction. He enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing, and the local stock car racing when there was racing at the fairgrounds in Springfield. Until he started having seizers around 1988, he was a structural construction iron worker, then later did duct work installs for furnace and air conditioners. No flowers please.
