Daniel Jacob Langel

Daniel J. Langel, age 33, passed away January 9, 2014, in Springfield, after a short illness. He was born September 16, 1980, in Kansas City, to Michael and Beverly (Spence) Langel. Daniel was raised in Miller. Daniel was united in marriage to Quintana Woods, February 14, 2005. Daniel is described by his family as a strong and independent person, very outgoing and funny. He loved to pull practical jokes on his family and friends. Daniel was a hard worker. He worked as a stainless steel worker, building bridges for I.S.C. He was a dedicated Chiefs fan, and loved football. Daniel loved his kids and his family. He will be greatly missed. Daniel is survived by his wife, two sons, Kayden and Jayden Langel, a step daughter, Jazmin McElroy; a brother, Joshua Langel, of Kansas City, KS; a sister Brandyce Parks and her husband Clint, of Oak Grove; parents Michael Langel and his step mother Deborah, of Grain Valley, and mother Beverly Damgar, of Ft. Scott, KS; paternal grandparents Larry and JoAnn Langel; and maternal grandparents Ted and Helen Wolfe, of Ft; Scott, KS. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 14, 2014, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
