Hadley Fisher

Hadley Ray Fisher was born on March 1, 1957 in Nevada, MO to James Edwin, and Faye Fisher. After a hard fought battle with colon cancer Hadley passed away on June 1, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Hadley is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diana Adams Fisher and children, Brandy Lynn Fisher-Davis (Andy Davis), and Hadley Adam Fisher. Grandchildren Sylar Jaxon Fisher Davis, and Jordyn Ella Davis. Hadley is also survived by his mother Faye Fisher, sister Theresa Hires, and brother James Edwin Fisher, Jr. (Tina) honorary sister Kelly Ballard (Scott) and godson Zachary Merz. Hadley was preceded in death by his father James Edwin Fisher SR, and paternal and maternal grandparents. Hadley graduated from Nixa High School in 1975. He was also a member of Living Life Ministries in Nixa, MO, where he was baptized, in the name of our Lord in 2015. Hadley retired in October of 2014 from French's LLC after 36 years of dedicated employment, where many friendships were made. Hadley has been an avid skater from the age of 13, and started competing in speed skating at the age of 18. His accomplishments include: 1st place at nationals in the master's men (30 and older) 2 man relay with Tony Heath in 1988 setting a national record that was held for 3 years. Hadley also placed 3rd at the national level in the individual division that same year. The following year, he and his friend, and teammate Charles Jenkins placed 2nd at nationals in the masters 2 man relay. Hadley coached young skaters in the Springfield area, first at Skate World in Branson then Skate Corral, Skate Port, and Skateland. These young skaters went on to compete and place at the national level. Hadlely also spent many years as a referee for sanctioned speed skating meets. Hadley and Diana were a loving and fun couple with the nicknames Kermit and Miss Piggy and enjoyed "their" song "One Way or Another" by Blonde. Diana stood lovingly by his side until his passing. Hadley always enjoyed being with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
