Jay Douglas Cox

Free format - Adams Funeral Home, Ozark 581-2400 Jay Douglas Cox, age 62, of Rockaway Beach, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. He was born November 28, 1954 in Oceanside, California. On April 25, 1986 he and Alana Kay were married in San Diego, California. In 1993 the family moved to the Ozarks. Jay loved to laugh and was a loving, faithful husband and father. He worked as a plumber for Progressive Plumbing Company, and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include: His wife, Alana; two sons, Douglas Jay Cox and wife Julie, and Jacob Michael Cox; his mother, Marion Orr and husband Marv; two brothers, Scott and wife Jennifer, and Louis and wife Patti; and two sisters, Sooty, and Janie and husband, Steve. A celebration of life will be from 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23rd at the Ozark Community Center located at 1530 W. Jackson St. Ozark. Cremation was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
