Katreana Ann Houck

Katreana Ann Houck, age 48, of Clever passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 29, 1968 in Springfield to Gary and Judy (Rogers) Hannah. She was united in marriage to Kevin Houck September 6, 2012. Katreana was a Legal Assistant at the Federal Medical Center in Springfield where she met the love of her life, Kevin, who also worked at the medical center. Katreana was known for her smile which "lit up the room". She had a magnetic personality and was very outgoing. She loved to be out of doors, riding horses and roping, boating and fishing. Katreana loved animals. She enjoyed her dogs, and was an avid sports fan. She liked to watch hockey games and followed the Denver Broncos. Katreana was an active member of the All Star Team Roping Association, and U. S. Team Roping Association. She was a member of the Riverdale Baptist Church. Katreana was a very loving and caring person and had many friends. Kevin describes Katreana as a true country gal and very talented. Survivors include her husband Kevin; her parents Gary and Judy Hannah; her brother Brad Hannah and his wife Rhonda; and two nieces Ashley and Allison. Katreana was preceded in death by her grandparents Bonnie and Mildred Hannah and Otis and Mary Rogers. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, May 15, 2017 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. The funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jones-Chastain Cemetery, Nixa. Memorial donations in Lieu of flowers may be made to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 204, Norwood, NJ 07648.
