Leona Bea Lee

Leona Bea Lee, age 66, of Highlandville, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014. She was born on February 19, 1948 in Independence, Missouri. Leona had worked as an admissions clerk for Cox Walnut Lawn. She enjoyed being outdoors, attending craft festivals, and being with friends and her family. Survivors include; her son, Chuck Ritter and wife Tamitha of Theodosia; two grandsons, Thomas Ritter and Drew Ritter both of Theodosia; and a beloved companion, David Durbin of Racine, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Lee in 2008, and her parents Mr. and Mrs. James Brown. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 27, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday. Burial will be in Highlandville Cemetery. Because Christmas was Leona's very special time of the year, the family requests in lieu of flowers friends and family bring a Christmas ornament to be given to her grandsons.
