Violet Bryant

Violet Bryant, age 93, of Ozark, passed away in her home Tuesday, October 10, 2017. She was born December 31, 1923 in McAlester, Oklahoma, the daughter of John David and Rosa (Sparks) McDougal. Violet was preceded in death by her husband Harreld O. "Bud" Bryant, two granddaughters, and a great-grandson. Survivors include: Three children, Harreld Bryant Jr (Aderra) of Springfield, Kay Ballard (Harold) of Marshfield, and G. Bryant of Davis, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Violet was a member of First Baptist Church of Ozark. A graveside funeral will be 3:30 PM Friday, October 13, in Schupbach Cemetery, Chestnutridge, with Pastor Blake Haworth officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Compassus, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
