History & Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Our History

The history of Adams Funeral Home dates back 50 years, when the firm was first established by Arthur Dean and Thelma Adams in Ozark, Missouri. Now with three generations of family ownership,  Dean and Mary Adams, Arthur and Kimberly Adams, and Sarah Adams Orr, along with a dedicated and caring staff, continue to operate Adams Funeral Home in Ozark and in Nixa. Families are served with the same trusted service that began in 1962.

Kent K. Davis, Funeral Director Assistant

Kent was raised and attended school in Ozark, graduating from Ozark High School in
1966. Kent attended Drury College in Springfield later transferring to Southwest Baptist
University in Bolivar, Missouri. Following college Kent went into restaurant and hotel
management and in 1976 transitioned into healthcare management, overseeing the
management of Food and Nutrition, Environmental Services, Security, Life Safety,
Engineering and Facility Maintenance at various hospitals during his healthcare career.
After 38 years in healthcare management Kent retired and moved back to Ozark joining

Kent is a very caring individual and felt that by joining the staff at Adams he would be able to provide assistance, comfort, encouragement, and support to those who are suffering from the loss of a loved one or friend.
