Allie Edith Wheeler

Allie Edith (Brown) Wheeler, age 92 of Nixa, passed away July 18, 2018. She was born October 17, 1925 in Cabool, the daughter of Allison and Ida (Skyles) Brown. Allie enjoyed embroidery, puzzle books, cooking and watching "Wheel of Fortune." Survivors include: her children, Della Wheeler, Nixa, Louise French and husband Jerry, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Connie Reed, West Plains, Barbara Woolmansee and husband Buster, Bolivar, Rita Carder, Mountain Grove, Ronnie Wheeler, Hartville, and Sherry Thomas, Willow Springs; a brother, Don Brown and wife Loretta, Summersville; a brother in law, Chuck McKee, Fulton; 17 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Allie was preceded in death by her husband Ray Wheeler on January 22, 1988; a daughter, Missy Wheeler; five brothers and four sisters. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, near Cabool, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
