Barbara Ann DeBoie

Barbara Ann DeBoie, age 74, of Aurora, passed away February 26, 2018. She was born April 5, 1943 in Nixa, the daughter of Alzie and Edith Marie (Fugett) Maples. She was united in married to Johnny DeBoie. Barbara enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping when she was younger. She worked at St. John's Hospital for 17 years as a Nurse's Aide. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny in 1991. Her brother, Leeroye Maples also preceded her in death as well as a nephew Glen Maples, and her parents. Survivors include: A sister, Wilma Medlin of Aurora; Sister-In-Law, Velma Maples of Nixa; nieces and nephews, John Medlin, Danny Medlin and wife Dana, Thomas Medlin and wife Heather, Regina Turner and husband Alan, Tamela Lasswell and husband Mark; Timothy Maples and wife Gayle, Mark Maples and wife Teresa, and Paul Maples and wife Amanda; great-nieces and great-nephews, and other relatives and friends. A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 3, in Highlandville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
