Beverly Jean Kruse

Beverly Jean Kruse, age 80, of Nixa, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. She was born October 26, 1935 in South Sioux City, NE. Beverly was the daughter of George and Clara (Evers) Wobken. She was united in marriage to Gene Otto Kruse 56 years ago. She was a public school teacher both in Omaha, NE, and Garden City, KS. Following retirement she and Gene moved to Nixa, and opened Liberty Tax Service. Survivors include: Her husband, Gene; six children, Diane McCollum and husband Gerald of Fayetteville, AR, Barbara Rose and husband Jud of Woodbridge, VA, Debra McClung and husband Richard, of Omaha, NE, James Kruse of Omaha, Ellen Weiss and husband Carl of Omaha, and Joann Paradis and husband Bryant of Westboro, MA; and two brothers, Cliff Wobken of Des Moines, IA, and Terry Wobken of Minneapolis, MN. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jay Kruse. Private funeral services are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
