Carey "Gary" Wayne Maggard

Carey "Gary" Wayne Maggard, born to Jesse and Annalee Maggard on December 12 1957, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2016. Gary was well knowledged and crafted in masonry. He was creative and artistic; writing and publishing several songs. Gary loved music and shared it with everyone that knew him. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Jesse E. Maggard and Annalee (Crawford) Maggard, three sisters, Barbra Groves, Doris Rowden, Sherry "Carol" Maggard and a brother Larry Maggard. He is survived by six sisters, Linda Freeman, Wanda Turner, Debbie Atwood, Sharon Kelley, Tina Green, Cecilian Britain, and two brothers Rick Maggard and Joey Maggard. His also survived by his three sons, Greg and wife Sarah, Bradley and wife Stacey, and Anthony. He was a very proud grandfather of seven grandchildren. There will be a memorial and a celebration of Gary's life on April 15, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., at the Willard Community Center located at 222 W Jackson Street in Willard, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted during the services, in order to make a donation in Gary's name to help Shriner Children.
