Chris Michael Pedersen

Chris Michael Pedersen, age 68, of Nixa passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 of natural causes. He was born October 27, 1951 in Chicago, IL to Marcella and William Quail. Chris was a lifelong resident of Chicago and retired in the year 2000. Chris and his family moved to the Ozarks. He couldn't sit still so he went to work for Nixa Small Engine as a pickup and delivery man. He researched case law of corruption cases. Chis loved his family and attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nixa until his health failed. Chris is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sarah Pedersen; five children Tina Vitale, husband Steve Marcie Pedersen, Janet Pedersen, Sarah Pedersen and Susan Pedersen; and 13 grandchildren Joseph, Ana, Hannah, Abigail, Makayla, Megan, Stephen III, Geneca, Dominic, Olivia, Beverly and Benjamin. He will also be missed by many cousins the Tanner family, In-laws, Nieces nephews and great friends especially Danny and Jean Christensen. He is preceded ion death by his parents William and Marcella Quail; and a grandson Alex Vitale. The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 9, 2020 in Redeemer Lutheran Church, Nixa, 911 W. Mt Vernon Nixa, MO 65714.
