Dennis Logan Finley

Dennis Logan Finley, age 72, passed away in his home after a long illness, at 8:30 A.M, Friday, February 21, 2014. He was born December 1, 1941, in Springfield, to George and Opal (Kyle) Finley. Dennis graduated from Parkview High School in 1961. He was united in marriage to Irene E. Millward, from Mt. Pleasant, PA on November 12, 1961. Dennis was a member of Solomon Lodge 271, and a member of the Springfield Jaycees. Dennis is survived by his wife; his son Travis and his wife Julie, of Springfield; three grandsons, two great-grandsons and one great- granddaughter. He is also survived by two brothers, Dave Finley and wife Melinda, Springfield, and Dean Finley and wife Helen, Springfield; and a host of friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Terry Logan Finley, Tonya LeAnn Finley Bolin Colburn; and a nephew David Daniel Finley. A funeral service will be at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in the funeral home.
