Don R. Sisco

Don R. Sisco, age 81 of Chadwick, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. He was born October 20, 1934 in Galloway, the son of Wilburn Thomas "Jack" and Della Mae (Cates) Sisco. In 1955 Don and Mildred Smith were united in marriage. They continued to live in Christian County throughout their lives. Don retired from Hiland Dairy. He was a farmer and enjoyed working his farm. Don loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a great passion for his land, wildlife, fishing and outdoors. Don also spent time listening to and singing southern gospel music. He attended Chadwick Union Church. Survivors include a daughter, Penny Loveland and husband Mark of Chadwick; a daughter-in-law Susie Sisco of Chadwick; five grandchildren and their spouses, Markie and Keesha Loveland of Chadwick, Jason and Michelle Sisco of Chadwick, Amanda and Ty Lowery of Sparta, Brandy and Bill Reichle of Chadwick, and Angel and David Haden of Ava; and 16 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor, Zachary, Lexi and Trinity Loveland, Austin, Kevin, and Chyanne Sisco, Ethan, Elynn, and Jaxon Lowery, Billy Jo, Braley, and Bro-D Reichle, Noah, and Waylon Haden. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Sisco; his parents, his son, Randy Sisco; six brothers, Clyde, Dewey, Oren Max, Billy Joe, Ray and Gene; and two sisters, Georgia Dobbs and Roxie Dobbs. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Paul Cofer officiating. Burial will follow in Chadwick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
