Donovan James Blakely

Donovan James Blakely was born on October 7, 1981 in Monett, Missouri to Dianna (Haas) Pierson and Richard Blakely. Donovan left his earthly home on February 24, 2018. Donovan loved the Green Bay Packers, sharing laughs with his many friends, Batman, and serving his community through his work in law enforcement. More than anything, he treasured the loves of his life, Lacie Burk and their son Carson. Donovan was proceeded in death by his father, maternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Baker and husband Jerry; maternal grandfather Harry F. Haas, Sr. and wife Annie; paternal grandparents Hank and Toni Blakely. Survivors include Lacie and Carson, Ozark; his mother Dianna Pierson and stepfather Bob Pierson, Aurora; sisters Danalee Blakely, Margo Havlik, and Jamie Kearse; brothers James Pierson, Anthony Juaire; uncle Harry Haas, Jr., aunt Linda Haas; and his much-loved nieces and nephews. Even in his passing, Donovan was thinking of others by becoming an organ donor. Many were saved because of his gift of life. A funeral service will held at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Thursday, March 1, 2018. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 prior to the funeral at 7:00 PM.
