Edwin Thillet

Edwin Thillet Romero was born June 1, 1932 in Salinas, Puerto Rico to Ermelindo Thillet and Carmen Romero Thillet. He died Sunday, March 29, 2015 in his home in Springfield, surrounded by him family and loved ones. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, his loving wife Milagros J. Thillet, and his youngest son Alberto Juan Thillet. He is survived by three sisters; Providencia Guerra Thillet, Virgelina Thillet and Dora Suarez Thillet. Edwin is also survived by four children; Edna Milagros Glenn, Edwin Louis Thillet II, Teresa Ann Thillet, Melissa Ines Payne. He leaves behind seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews and their families. Edwin will be greatly missed by his family! No funeral service will be held at this time; however, a celebration of life in tribute to both Edwin and his wife Milagros, and their son Alberto will be conducted in Puerto Rico next year at a time to be determined by his family.
