Erma Wagemann

Erma Wagemann, age 94, of Nixa, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013. She was born April 13, 1919, in Nixa, the daughter of Joe and Ora (Anderson) Payne. In 1940 she and William "Bill" Henry Wagemann were united in marriage. Erma was a homemaker and she along with her husband enjoyed gardening and playing cards. Her husband, Bill, preceded her in death in 2008, as well as a son, Joseph Wagemann in 2007. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jo Fitzpatrick in 2013, and her parents. Survivors include: A son, Jim Wagemann and wife Sandy of Springfield; two grandchildren, Debbie Wagemann of Tulsa, OK, and Dennis Wagemann of Fayetteville, AR; two great-grandchildren, Jeanna Hessee and Justin Keaveny; and a niece, Mary Alice Wright. A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 28, in Payne Cemetery, north of Nixa, with Pastor Randall Moody officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
