Jamie Herbert Fulton

Jamie Herbert Fulton age 82, of Ozark, MO, passed away February 20, 2015 at Cox South, Springfield after a short illness. He was born October 18, 1932 in Bruner, Missouri, the son of Fred and Ruby (Sherrow) Fulton. He was united in marriage to Joan (Bolin) on January 14, 1955. To this union a daughter Connie and a son Mike were born. Jamie served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Mid-America Dairy after 37 years. Jamie was a member of Southside Church of Christ. His hobbies were fishing, gardening, antiquing, and woodworking. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren on camping and fishing trips. Jamie was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years (Joan), his parents, and a sister, Janice Young. Survivors include a daughter, Connie Spies and husband Joe of Ft. Worth, TX; a son, Mike Fulton and wife Vonda of Sparta; two brothers, Ronald Fulton and wife Ellen of Sparta, and Richard "Butch" Fulton and wife Rosemary of Sparta; three grandchildren, Kim Koskinen of Ft. Worth, Derek Spies and wife Polina of Lewisville, Texas, and Deni Fulton of Sparta; great grandchildren, Landon, Christopher, Caroline and Ivanka; sister-in-law, Erva Lou Johnson of Sparta; brother-in-law, Bobby Bolin and wife Becky of Sparta; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 24, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Fulton Cemetery, Rogersville. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 7:30 PM Monday in the funeral home. Memorials in Jamie's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
