Jay Arnold Black

Jay Arnold Black, 60, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away January 10, 2020 to go home and be with the Lord. He was born on April 23, 1959 to parents Robert Black, Sr., and Jacqueline Hunt in Leachville, Arkansas. He enjoyed being in nature, exploring, meditating, rock hunting, studying the paranormal, making people smile, laugh, helping people in any way he could, and most of all being with the ones he loved. He lived his life a God fearing and big hearted man. He is survived by his children Amber Goss, Jayson Black, Jasmond Heenan, his former wife Sharon Black, his brother Roger Black, and his three grandchildren Gavin, Jayde, and Miyah Goss. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Sherman Black, Jr., his father Robert Sherman Black, Sr., his mother Jacqueline Nancy (Arnold) Hunt, and his daughter Ashley Krista Black. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas. Further memorial services are pending. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
