Mabel Edwards Meyer

Mabel Edwards Meyer, age 94, of Springfield, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014. Mabel Margaret Edwards was born on August 31, 1919 in Chisholm, Minnesota, the daughter of Edgar and Sarah Edna (Chatman) Edwards.. She was most recently a resident of Maranatha Village in Springfield. Survivors include: Two daughters, Margaret Thompson and husband George of Chicago, Illinois, and Mary VanHouweling of Des Moines, Iowa; two grandchildren, Tina Smith and Amy Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Matt, Katie, and Colin; and a brother, Henry Edwards and wife Harriett of Branson. A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, April 7 in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM Monday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
