Marianne Bilyeu

Marianne Louise Bilyeu, age 85, of Ozark, formerly of Sparta, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018. She was born February 2, 1933 in Center, Iowa, the daughter of George and Lucille (Clouse) Bullis. In 1946 she and Everett Howard Bilyeu were united in marriage. Marianne served as a mail route carrier in Sparta for seventeen years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sparta. Marianne enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and sewing. Survivors include: her daughter, Karen Sue "Susie" Barnes of Springfield; grandchildren, Kelly Cave, Jimmy Barnes, and Amanda Weddle; great-grandchildren, Luke, Levi, Lily and Lucy; a sister, Linda (Sagerser) OConnor of Kerrville, Texas; a brother, James Sagerser and wife Cathy of Littleton, Colorado; and Marianne's caregiver, Ted Watson of Ozark. Her husband, Everett, preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Bilyeu. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 8, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Rev. Bob Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery.
