Orphie Belle Hursh

Orphie Hursh, age 88, of Chadwick, Missouri, was born Orphie Belle Walker on March 6, 1926, to the union of Ed and Nima Walker in the Pine Ridge Community south of Chadwick, one of eight children. She passed from this life on July 16, 2014. At a young age Orphie married Rex Hursh of Chadwick, and to this union a daughter was born, Carolyn Jean Hursh. Orphie later married Clifford Hursh of Chadwick, and to this union a son was born, Danny Edward Hursh. Survivors include: Her son, Danny and daughter-in-law, Diane; a granddaughter Maddie Hursh; a brother, Vernie Walker and wife Jossie; a sister-in-law, Thelma Walker; a sister, Joan Bishop and husband Clinton; many very special nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Nima; her daughter Carolyn; her husband Clifford; brothers Sam, Virgil and Ernie Walker; sisters, Dorothy Bilyeu and Ethel Stewart; a sister-in-law, Katy Walker; and brothers-in-law, Murl Bilyeu and Clarence Stewart. A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 18, in Chadwick Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Bally Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
