Ray Ingram

Ray Coy Ingram, age 75, of Ozark, passed away suddenly of an apparent heart attack Friday, February 8, 2019. He was a graduate of Gainesville High School. Ray was born in Ozark, County, on August 22, 1943, the son of Hubert and Vetta (Friend) Ingram. He moved to Wichita, Kansas, where he worked at Coleman. In 1973 he and Peggy were married. Ray and Peggy left Wichita in 1993, returning to Ozark County. Ray worked for the Lutie School District as Maintenance Supervisor and Bus Driver. To be closer to family they came to Ozark in 2018. Ray loved his family and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and just being outdoors. He was easy to talk to and never met a stranger. Survivors include: His wife, Peggy; three children and their spouses, Mike and Michelle Medlin, Belle Plain, Kansas, Ty and Myka Ingram of Ozark, and Wendy and Seth Brungardt of Wichita, Kansas; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Netta Schofield; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Larry, a sister, Verna May, and his parents. A memorial visitation will be 6:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, February 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
