Shelley Thryselius

Shelley Ann Thryselius, age 43, of Nixa, MO passed away Saturday, April 6th, 2019. She was born April 2nd, 1976 in Aurora, IL to Terry and Susan (Untz) Thryselius. Shelley was raised in Mountain Home, AR and graduated high school in 1994. She attended Missouri State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Education. Shelley worked at many preschools and child care centers as a paraprofessional teacher. Shelley worked at Springfield Public Schools prior to her passing. Shelley was strong willed and independent. She also had a sweet spirit and loved children and cherished her own. Shelley loved her three cats and considered them family. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and traveling. During her quiet times, Shelley enjoyed sitting in her recliner and reading. Shelley is survived by her daughters Brianna Denton and Julia Tate; Brothers Joseph Thryselius and Scott Thryselius; her special friend, David Hafer; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Shelley is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Nixa, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Rescue One, an organization dedicated to the betterment of the lives of animals, or any charity of your choice.
