Shirley Ann Coffelt

Shirley Ann Coffelt, age 74, of Chestnutridge, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018. She was born December 5, 1943 in Chestnutridge, the daughter of Randolph and Claris (Harp) Dye. Shirley loved her family and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She had been a nurse for area nursing homes and Upjohn Home Health. Lately she assembled computer parts from her home. On October 15, 1966 she and Etchel Coffelt were married. Shirley was a member of New Haven General Baptist Church. Survivors include: three children, Sheila Jimerson, Gregg Coffelt, and Bobby Coffelt; three step-children, Cindy Hopper, Jimmy Coffelt and Ronnie Coffelt; seven grandchildren; fifteen step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gaylord "Pete" Dye, and Burless Dye. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Etchel in 2008, two brothers, Doyle Young and Roy Young, and a sister, Erma Rolufs. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 1, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Schupbach Cemetery, Chestnutridge. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, in the funeral home.
