Vedia Mae Jones

Vedia Mae Jones, age 60, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was born January 15, 1956 in Manilla, AR, the daughter of Frank and Shirley Jones. Vedia loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved getting together for family meals and especially barbeques. Vedia liked to play bingo and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include: Her six children, Christina Tindle of Springfield and children, Brandon and fiance Sheena, Destiny and Alexus; son Kevin Tindle and wife Crystal of Mesa, AZ and children, Julia, Kallen, James, Desiraison, Jayden and Rayden; son Jason Jones and wife Angela of Springfield and children Nichole, Tyler, Zoey and Landon; son Brian O'Dell; son Adam Jones of Kansas City and children, Kyle, Dylan and Jordan; daughter Tanya Jones and Bryan Bishop of Billings and children, Mercedes and Brandon, Alissa, Bradley, Khristian, Kaylee, Anthony and Joseph; four great-grandchildren, Adali, Liam, Kellen and Arabella; her mother, Shirley Jones of Isabella; four brothers Anthony Jones and wife Tammy of Fair Play, Jimmy Jones and wife Caroline of Branson, Ellis Herren of Isabella, and Ricky Jones of Ava; a sister Bonnie Jones of Gainesville. She was also survived by her canine companion, Poncho. Preceding Vedia in death were her father, Frank Jones of Dora, a sister, Mary Jones of Fair Grove, and two brothers, Frank Jones of Morrisville, and James Jones of Isabella. A celebration of Vedia's life will be Friday, May 6, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Nichols Park in Springfield for family and friends.
